On the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia – Sretenje, an exhibition of archival documents titled “Anniversaries and Jubilees of the First Serbian Uprising in Yugoslavia 1918–1994” has been set up in the central hall of the Archives of Yugoslavia.

The exhibition presents the practice and significance of commemorating the anniversaries of the First Serbian Uprising, the individuals who marked that struggle, as well as memorial observances of individual battles, in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes/Yugoslavia and in post-war Yugoslavia up to 1994.
The author of the exhibition is Siniša Tadić, senior archivist, and the associates are Đurđija Borovnjak, Marko Radovanović, Dragan Teodosić, Aljoša Popović, and Milica Borojević. The exhibition was opened by the Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, Dr. Milan Terzić.

The exhibition will be open to the public until March 31, 2026. It will remain permanently available to a wider audience in electronic format on the website of the Archives of Yugoslavia.
