In addition to the collection and processing of archive documents, the Archives also deals with publishing, which enables the widest public that engages in research, professionals and others to get access to documents kept at the Archive funds. By publishing the archive documents, the Archives became one of the driving forces for the dissemination of knowledge about the history of the Yugoslav state and society.

Publications issued by the Archives , and other issuers of archive documents from the Archives are in libraries, at University schools and other scientific institutions and are unavoidable for those who wish to study seriously the recent history of Yugoslavia and South Slav peoples.
