The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco visited Archives
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco in Belgrade, HE Mohamed Amine Belhaj, accompanied by the Embassy Counselor Mr. Mohamed Amine Ghazaoui and Ms. Jovana Đukić, translator, visited the Archives of Yugoslavia on February 26, 2020. The goal of the visit was to collect documents relevant to the history of relations between the two countries, which would be prepared for publication. It was stated that the collection of documents would be richer if it included the documents from the Archives of Morocco. The work on the collection would last for two years, and in connection with that, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco would establish a connection with the Moroccan archives and arrange a meeting of the directors of the two archives. It was agreed that the mutual cooperation in the field of archives would be shaped by an Agreement, and that the Archives of Yugoslavia would prepare a draft text of the general agreement on cooperation. The delegation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco was shown the storage room in which the Archives of the President of the Republic – J.B. Tito are kept, as well as certain documents from that fund..
