The exhibition covers the time period from 1918 to 2006, from the emergence of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes to the dissolution of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro. By way of four different chapters: Kingdom of Yugoslavia, World between WW1 and WW2, Post-war Yugoslavia, and World after WW2, on 20 panels with 40 dedicated areas, 156 persons and their signature were presented – rulers, statesmen and politicians from Yugoslavia and countries all over the world. Documents with signatures of these important figures and their photographs are exhibited side by side. The exhibition is complemented by short biographies of the famous figures and the captions for the documents. Diverse documents are presented, from private correspondence to official notifications and messages exchanged by the statesmen, and also international agreements, letters of credence, agréments, diplomats’ reports, political parties’ correspondence... The documents originate from the fonds of the Royal Court of Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Marshall of Yugoslavia Office, SFRY Presidency, FRY Presidency, League of Communists of Yugoslavia, Milan Stojadinović’s collection and Photograph Collection.

Organized by the Historic Archives of Negotin the exhibition of the Archives of Yugoslavia Celebrities and Signatures – Autographs of Famous Persons on the Documents of the Archives of Yugoslavia was opened on June 7, 2017 in the Gallery of Mokranjac’s house. After keynote address to the guests of the independent advisor of the Archives in Negotin Nenad Vojinović, Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia Miladin Milošević said: "This exhibiton presents just part of the treasure preserved in its depots. Celebrities and Signatures – Autographs of Famous Persons on the Documents of the Archives of Yugoslavia presents signatures of the most famous individuals of the XX century that were somehow connected to the country that vanished and does not exist anymore. That’s why there are even more important since while witnessing the past they provide guidelines to the young generations to plan the future, our future – future of ourselves and of our children…" Ethno group "Klasje" lead by class teacher Dušica Đurđić from primary school "Vuk Kardžić" in Negotin contributed to this exhibition by their songs.

The exhibition Celebrities and Signatures - Autographs of the Famous Persons on the Documents of the Archives of Yugoslavia was opened on September 22, 2016 at the Heritage Museum in Aleksinac. Ivan Brboric, Museum Director, Dr. Dragomir Bondžić form the Institute of Contemporary History and Miladin Milošević, Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia talked on the opening ceremony. |
Exhibition of the Archives of Yugoslavia "Celebrities and Signatures – Autographs of the Famous Persons on the Documents of the Archives of Yugoslavia" was opened in the Gallery of the National Museum in Vranje on August 24, 2016 within the manifestation "Dani Vranja". Documents from 1918 to 2006 were presented at the exhibition covering period from the foundation of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia to the dissolution of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro. Signatures and documents of 156 persons whose activities and work denoted that period expressed through the private correspondence as well as through the official notifications and messages that statesmen in the past had exchanged were exhibited. Acting Director of the Archives in Vranje, Borivoje Manasijević, addressed the audience and later on about exhibition itself talked Independent Advisor Dušan Jončić, author of the exhibition, and Lilijana Ratković-Trifunović, Assistant Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, who opened the exhibition.
The exhibition will be opened till September 15, 2016..

The exhibition of archival documents Celebrities and Signatures (Autographs of famous persons on the documents of the Archives of Yugoslavia) was opened in the gallery of Intermunicipal Archives in Čačak on April 24, 2015. The exhibition was officially opened by Miladin Milošević, Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia. .

On the occasion of the celebration of Užice Municipality Day exhibition "Celebrities and Signatures -Autographs of Famous Persons on the Documents of the Archives of Yugoslavia" was opened in the Historical Archives of Užice on October 6, 2014. Vesna Prljević, Director of the Historical Archives of Užice, greeted the audience stressing that this exhibition that was taken over from the Archives of Yugoslavia and that is opened on the occasion of Užice Municipality Day is very significant and very interesting. Miladin Milošević, Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, talked about the work of the Archives of Yugoslavia and highlighted that: "… this exhibition is one out of forty projects that the Archives of Yugoslavia realized since we have started to prepare exhibitions of archival documents. This project was our long-standing idea and it has been realized in January this year on the occasion of the celebration of the 64th anniversary of the establishment of the Archives of Yugoslavia…" Hoping that this exhibition will be interested to the public and the citizens of Uzice, he offered best wishes regarding Užice Municipality Day. Dusan Jončić, the author of the exhibition, addressed all present mentioning: …" This exhibition covers the time period from 1919 to 2006 from the emergence of the Kingdom of Serbs Croats and Slovenes to the dissolution of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro, it presents politicians and celebrities that marked this period by their activity at home and in the world historical scene. Over 200 exhibits show photos, manuscripts, rulers, statesmen, celebrates from all over the world…" Jelena Vasović-Vićović ,Councilor for culture and sports opened the exhibition reminding that: "…only those that seriously deal with their past know how serious were certain decisions that leadership in former Yugoslavia had to make. Their signatures on the documents preserved in the Archives of Yugoslavia are especially significant since they marked time that had different rules and laws…"

On the occasion of the Day of liberation of the city of Banjaluka and the Day of the Archive of the Republic of Srpska, on 22 April, 2014 in the Gallery of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska, the exhibition "Celebrities and Signatures (Autographs of famous persons on the documents of the Archives of Yugoslavia)" was opened. Visiting exhibition of the Archives of Yugoslavia in Banjaluka is result of longtime successful cooperation of the archives, stressed Dusan Popović , Director of the Archives of the Republic of Srpska before numerous guests, public and cultural workers of Banjaluka. This exhibition is gift from the Archives of Yugoslavia to the city of Banjaluka. Miladin Milošević Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia talked about exhibition and Nebojsa Radmanovic, the member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency opened the exhibition.
